MailShare offers plug and play Internet mail for the Macintosh. Works very well with Eudora. Supports NotifyMail and password changing via Eudora. This version of MailShare is freeware.

-Changed the resolver to distinguish between an authoritative no answer and when there are just no completed answers.
-Fixed a bug where a certain length of header would result in an error being produced while receiving a message.
-Fixed a bug where an error response to the content of a message would result in the server timing out.
-Header lines longer than 1024 characters are not corrupted any more.
-Changed the resolver to use a better name server matching method and to not demote name servers.
-Responses to MAIL FROM and some responses to RCPT TO commands are not pushed immediately now if PIPELINING is used.
-The Outgoing mail window can handle up to 8192 messages now.
-Fixed a bug where messages that could not be sent the first time are being delayed until another message is sent.
-Added a check for if there is less than 32k of memory free.
-Fixed a bug where a blank line was being inserted in headers.

-Changed the SMTP Client to not bounce messages on authNoAnsErr responses.

-Fixed a bug where disabled buttons could still do things.
-Turned off some debugging code on port 106.
-Fixed a bug where the DNR was always going to the last name server that matched and then not going to any others.
-Fixed a bug where the DNR was retuning a -23046 error when there were name servers to try returned.

-Fixed a bug where messages were being left behind in the outgoing mail window after being sent.
-The version of MailShare is now displayed in the error log when the server is starting up.
-Changed the SMTP Client to continue with a type A lookup if the MX lookup fails with a noAnsErr (-23046).
-Fixed a bug where writing a message larger than 16k to a text file would not work properly.
Known problems:
There are problems putting large volumes (about 20Mb/day?) of mail through MailShare.
Future additions:
-Handling mail on a host by host basis, not message by message
